"On the eve of the 60th anniversary (8th February 2015 in Hamburg) of the foundation of the German Muslim League („Deutsche Muslim Liga e.V." - http://www.muslim-liga.de) and in cooperation with the „Shura Hamburg“ and the „Islamic Center Hamburg“ the eminent european Muslim thinker and scholar Professor Dr. Tariq Ramadan, University of Oxford, delivered in Hamburg (8th February 2015) the public lecture: "Tasks and Responsibilities of Muslims in Europe"."

Prof. Ramadan is introduced by the president of the German Muslim League (Deutsche Muslim Liga): Mr. M.Belal El-Mogaddedi, a colleague of Prof. Ramadan at the European Muslim Network.

The DML is Germany's oldest continuously existing Islamic Organisation, representing the interests of Muslims in Germany since 1954. It was founded by German Muslims in the city of Hamburg. The DML proves with its constructive and creative presence, that Muslims and Islam are part and parcel of Germany's past, present and future.
